We had a great 4th of July this year and celebrated for several days. First, we went to a party at Jay and Laura Cannon's which was also hosted by Curt and Melissa Poore and enjoyed homemade ice-cream and cookies, wonderful music, beautiful fireworks, and a little downpour! Grayson was a little fearful of fireworks anyway, but a boy was burned because he was too close to where the fireworks were being shot off, and now Grayson is terrified of them. The next morning, my sister, my mom, Grayson and myself headed to my Aunt and Uncles for our annual 4th of July family get together. My mom's cousin, Blu Sanders, which she hadn't seen in years and his wife, Babette and their son even joined us this year. We played games, worked on wedding invitations, visited, laughed, swam, and ate until we couldn't move!!! The day after we returned home, Clint's parents came over to our house for dinner and fireworks. Grayson wasn't sure about the fireworks to begin with and stayed as far away as possible. He finally warmed up to the idea and even held some sparklers!
