Disney On Ice

Clint, Grayson, and I went to see Disney On Ice in Ft. Worth during the Thanksgiving holiday. The Incredibles, Buzz Lightyear, and all the Disney characters were there. Grayson loved the show and didn't want it to end. After every act he would ask if it was over because he didn't want it to be. We also went Christmas shopping and ate at Salt Grass which was mom and dad's favorite part of the day!

Grayson's 3rd Birthday

I'm a little late in posting this, but I guess it's better late than never. Grayson celebrated his 3rd birthday with two parties. The first one was a spider man party at his babysitter's house and the second one was a Kung Fu Panda party at Gymnastics Powerhouse.

Our Little Dallas Cowboy

The other night while Clint and I were watching the Dallas-Houston game, Grayson decided to suit up like the big boys. He had Clint throw him the football, and then he would pretend he was making a touchdown. He got the uniform for Christmas last year but hasn't shown much interest in it until now. He thought it was so much fun that he wore it the next day too.

Broken Bow 2008

For the past several years, my family which includes my mom and dad, my brother and his family, my sister and her family, and Clint, Grayson, and I have taken a vacation to Beavers Bend during the summer. This was our 6th trip. Usually there is around 15 of us, and we all stay in a cabin together for a long weekend. Clint and I bring our boat and take Grayson and all my nieces and nephews out on the lake for swimming and tubing. We hang around the cabin and play games, relax in the hot tub, visit, eat and eat some more, laugh, stay up late, and just relax. This year we had the privilege of watching the Olympics together. It's a great opportunity for all of us to pause our busy lives and just enjoy one another.
