Girl Trip 2008
Mom, Sherrie, Allison, and I decided to take a girl trip to Dallas to spend some much needed time together. We had so much fun! We left Sunday morning after church and stopped to eat in Bonham at Shumardi's. Yes, we know we didn't get very far before eating!!! We then stopped at Khol's in McKinney and shopped. A few hours and a milk shake from Steak and Shake later, we arrived at our hotel for a very brief rest. My niece, Lindsey, and her friend Katie picked us up at the hotel, and we went to the Majestic Theatre to see "Menopause the Musical". It was hilarious!!! What's next? Food of course! We ate at Olive Garden and then crashed at the hotel. The next morning we shopped at Northpark and visited a beautiful spa where we took part in facials and massages which were so relaxing. We then went to shop at IKEA where we met my nephew, Shannon. It was my first time at IKEA, and I absolutely loved it. After dragging my sister out of there, we traved to Saltgrass where we had dinner and made a pit stop at Target which is a must when in Dallas. When we arrived back at the hotel, we went for a swim. Well, Allison is the only one who actually did any swimming. The rest of us relaxed in the hot tub. We stayed up really late and slept in the next morning before packing and heading out for more shopping. We stopped at Dillard's and Khol's again. We all bought Easter dresses as you can see in the pictures. We had a blast and plan to do this once a year.
