Circus

Clint, Grayson, and I took a mini-vacation to Dallas this past weekend. We went to the Ringling Brothers and Barnum & Bailey Circus Saturday night. Grayson absolutely loved it! That's all he talked about the rest of the weekend.

Playing in the sprinkler

Grayson decided that playing in the sprinkler looked like fun, so he stood in front of it (clothes and all) and got soaked! He also thought it would be fun to lay under the water, so his white shirt turned into a tan one. Oh well, you can always buy another white shirt!

Vacation Bible School

Waiting for VBS to start
Craft time
Watching a skit on dad's shoulders-notice how they both have the same look!
Sliding with Landon
Singing with daddy

Helping dad in the yard

Grayson loves to help his daddy outside. I decided this was a Kodak moment I couldn't pass up. Grayson was making a bigger mess for Clint, but Clint is such a good daddy that he didn't mind.

Swimming Lessons

Learning to climb out of the swimming pool by using the ladder
Being a motor boat
Floating on our back
Swimming through the hoop
Singing songs with the class

Grayson took swimming lessons at the public pool a couple of weeks ago. He and I both had a lot of fun, and he is much more comfortable in the water now. On the last day, he even put his head under the water. Well, let me rephrase that....he was dunked under the water by me at the instructor's request. She taught the kids to shake their heads like puppy dogs after coming up out of the water. Instead of freaking out about the water on his face, he was concentrating more on acting like a puppy. Pretty good strategy if you ask me!
