Grayson jumped in Clint's suitcase and said, "I'm going to Ireland".

Clint and I were extremely blessed to be invited on a John Deere trip to the beautiful country of Ireland. We left Sunday, June 1st and returned home on Saturday, June 7th. We had the most wonderful time and experienced memories that will last a lifetime. Grayson stayed with both sets of his grandparents and was spoiled to death. He got to swim, play at the parks, visit McDonald's and Burger King, play with Logan and D'Lynn, and attend Aubrie's 3rd birthday party! I think he had as much fun as we did.

A few weekends ago, I convinced Clint that we needed to go furniture shopping. We desperately needed new living room furniture because ours is so fadeded and worn out. Because of this, we have slipcovers on it which are chocolate brown. Of course, anyone who knows us very well, knows that Max sleeps on the couches when we are not home. His dog hair covers the couches. I'm constantly covering it with sheets and constantly washing sheets. We did purchase a new leather sectional which I'm ecstatic about. It will be delivered while Clint and I are in Ireland. I hope to have lots of pictures to share when we return. It will be a seven day trip which is the longest we've ever been away from Grayson. That will be the hard part! He will be spening time with both sets of grandparents while we're away. Anyway, back to my original story. Grayson was a trooper during the 2 hour shopping trip, so we rewared him with a trip to Chuck E. Cheese. The pictures below are of him and his daddy playing games.

Another First for Grayson

Grayson FINALLY decided to use his little potty. This is not to say that we are potty trained by any means, but it is an accomplishment because he has not had any interest up to this point. He even tried to poop while playing with a toy and eating some of his daddy's potato soup. His daddy said he is a bigger man than him if he can eat soup and poop at the same time. This is kinda gross, but we saved the pee so dad could see it when he got home. I made Grayson point to it while I snapped his picture.
